Transparency in Recruitment…
Despite different opinions, we can say that transparency in recruitment has a significant impact on candidates accepting job offers and reducing internal turnover. I spent nearly 20 years of my 30-year career in recruitment consultancy. During this time, I tell my teams the following. "Let's be honest with our candidates and ourselves. Treat candidates the way you want to be treated with open and regular communication." The more transparent we are with both our candidates and our clients, the more successful we will be. Many recruiters prefer to maintain a sense of "mystery" with candidates, but in our experience, this tactic often backfires during the job offer phase.

Without transparency about salary and benefits, one's expectations will not be met and it will be more difficult to negotiate these during the offer phase.

In this case, why not be transparent beforehand?
This transparency should not only be with hiring managers, but also with candidates.
When there is no transparency on both sides, it can cause serious unforeseen costs for the employer and significant time losses for the parties involved.

The question talent professionals and companies should ask themselves is: Why can't we be transparent in recruiting?

What does transparency in recruiting mean?
Recruiters must earn the respect of job seekers and we must incorporate transparency into our work.
Job descriptions, benefits, company culture, flexible work policies, how long the recruitment process will take and where the position is within the organization, orientation programs that will be implemented if the job starts, challenges that the job will face if the job starts, etc.
As companies, we have the opportunity to give all candidates involved in the interview process what they need to make an informed decision about whether the positions we offer are right for them. If we are not going to continue with a candidate, we should share this with them.
Treating each candidate as if they were our most important customer adds value to our employer brand. Honesty and transparency strengthen the reputation of our companies.
