GRANULATION AND COMPRESSION TEAM LEADER

We are seeking a "Granulation and Compression Team Leader" to be deployed at the production plant of our corporate, foreign-capital client, which is one of the leading pioneers in the pharmaceutical industry, featuring a global business culture and a highly professional, well-educated workforce.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year university) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferably in Solid Dosage Forms production processes), with strong command over granulation and compression/tablet pressing processes.
• Language Skills: Upper-Intermediate / Fluent level of English proficiency.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office programs, preferably experienced with SAP systems, and possesses technical knowledge of production equipment, maintenance, and process care.
• Managerial & Personal Competencies: Skilled in blue-collar supervision and management, strong stress management and communication skills, solution and result-oriented.
• Military Service: Completed military service for male candidates.
• Working Conditions: Residing or able to reside in Lüleburgaz, Çorlu, Ergene, or Tekirdağ, and capable of adapting to a 3-shift working schedule.

Job Description

The main responsibilities of the position, which is accountable for ensuring that production within the assigned manufacturing unit is carried out in compliance with GMP conditions, on time, and in the required quality and quantity, are as follows:

1. Ensuring timely production that meets the quality standards requested by contract manufacturing, export, and domestic markets, while maintaining full compliance with GMP and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
2. Managing production with the highest efficiency regarding workforce, material, machinery, and equipment utilization.
3. Taking necessary measures to minimize scrap/waste rates, tracking these metrics, and reporting them periodically to the manager.
4. Preparing, maintaining, and revising production methods, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and formats.
5. Coordinating with the maintenance department to ensure production machinery and the entire section are always in optimum operational condition.
6. Resolving any operational failures or problems that may arise during production with an analytical approach to ensure uninterrupted continuity.
7. Enforcing occupational health and safety (OHS) measures flawlessly to eliminate or minimize workplace accidents within the department.
