We are seeking a Foreign Trade Operations Specialist to join the Istanbul-based organization of our corporate client.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in import operations,
- Preferably experienced in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, or similar industries,
- Good knowledge of import, customs, and foreign trade processes,
- Proficiency in SAP MM,
- Experience in import documentation and international logistics operations,
- Good command of English,
- Proficiency in MS Office applications,
- Strong planning, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
Job Description
1. Manage import operations from order placement through final delivery,
2. Coordinate shipment, customs clearance, bonded warehouse, and delivery processes,
3. Follow up on import documentation and related operational requirements,
4. Coordinate with international suppliers, customs brokers, and logistics service providers,
5. Manage relevant operational transactions through SAP MM,
6. Follow up on delays and operational issues and coordinate necessary solutions,
7. Work closely with relevant departments to ensure import operations are completed on time and in compliance with applicable regulations.
