Our foreign-invested corporate client is looking for a results-oriented, analytical Finishing Department Chief to manage the Finishing Department at its production facility in Çorlu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Textile Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in textile dyeing and finishing
• Experience managing blue-collar teams
• Able to actively follow production processes on the shop floor
• Good command of MS Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is a plus
• Good written and spoken English
• Able to track production, quality and efficiency KPIs and report on them regularly
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, solution-oriented
• Strong communication skills, team player, responsible
• Good time management, open to development and change, dynamic
• Shuttle routes: Lüleburgaz, Çorlu, Çerkezköy 

Job Description

1. Manage chemical ordering in line with chemical demand planning, and ensure laboratory analysis and compliance checks of supplied chemicals
2. Compare chemical consumption against recipe usage during periodic stock counts to ensure stock accuracy and cost control
3. Run quality control and compliance assessment processes for purchased products and products under evaluation
4. Prepare daily production plans in line with production targets and coordinate with the relevant teams
5. Monitor daily production performance and efficiency indicators, and take corrective and preventive actions on time
6. Establish, improve and standardize departmental processes, and monitor their sustainability
7. Ensure that machine and equipment maintenance, cleaning and operating procedures are carried out according to plan
8. Contribute to annual budget preparation and carry out departmental cost analyses
9. Take an active part in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) activities
